After spending the majority of my career in mortgage and real estate, I became deeply involved with mental health agencies through volunteering. This experience highlighted the significant and transformative impact therapy can have on individuals’ lives and the positive influence on family dynamics and personal connections. Most recently, I have worked with a crisis team, providing immediate support to victims and their families during acute trauma and grief. As a Muslim Latina, I embody the essence of diversity and value the views of one’s perspective.
